Tapping its trusted high quality and technologies cultivated from long years of experience in all phases of operations, including engineering, construction, trial operation and adjustment and maintenance, Toshiba Plant Systems & Services provides such products as surveillance systems, security systems and environment-related systems. We also undertake activities that realize the concept of "security and safety" through service maintenance on product services.

Management Systems
Quality Control Activities
Toshiba Plant Systems & Services has attained certification for ISO 9001, a standard for quality management systems. We have also formulated a general quality control manual for establishing, implementing, preserving, and continually improving the effectiveness of quality management systems that conform to these ISO standards, while carrying out quality-related activities in accordance with our quality policies.
Environment Preservation Activities
In undertaking environment preservation activities, we have obtained certification for ISO 14001, an environmental management system, for all worksites throughout the entire Company. In accordance with our basic environmental policies, we are promoting initiatives to reduce the environmental burden, mainly by promoting environment friendly construction, as well as by raising waste material recycling rates, proactively disclosing environmental information, and curtailing electric power usage and the volume of waste paper generated.
Personal Information Protection Activities
The Company received an additional Privacy Mark in December 2004 in advance of the April 1, 2005 implementation of the Personal Information Protection Act. Based on a policy of protecting personal information, we have established an internal structure to protect personal information and are striving to provide comprehensive employee education on personal information protection, while implementing appropriate controls for collecting, storing, using, presenting, disclosing and disposing of personal information.
