The Nuclear Power Systems Division's operations are centered mainly on fields where business is operated for the Toshiba Group, and the division undertakes engineering associated with construction, periodic inspection and renovation as well as construction, trial operations and adjustments, maintenance and service for nuclear power plants, used-fuel processing facilities and other fuel recycling facilities, and nuclear power R&D facilities.

This division contributes to the betterment of society with its world-class technological capabilities in the areas of engineering, construction, periodic inspection and renovation of nuclear power plants (including commercial furnaces, developmental furnaces and nuclear fuel recycling facilities), which are winning acclaim as a source of clean energy with minimal environmental impact.
The division is also developing new businesses employing advanced technologies, including commissioned engineering work that relies on highly efficient and precise 3D-CAD technologies born from a wealth of experience.
