This division consists of two operational divisions: the Power Systems Division, which operates in such business fields as thermal and hydroelectric power plants, substation facilities, electric power systems and energy supply systems, and the Thermal Power Systems and Service Division, which primarily engages in such non-Group fields as thermal power systems. The Power Systems Division also provides engineering, construction, field services and such maintenance services as inspection and renovation for the above facilities.
Power Systems Division
Electricity is as much an integral part of our lives today as it ever was, and is vital to our daily activities, industry, culture and most other aspects of life. As the division of an engineering constructor with a strong record of achievement and unsurpassed technologies, the Power Systems Division is reinforcing its engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) framework to consolidate its services in engineering, procurement, construction, testing, on-site tuning, and operation and maintenance (O & M) for such facilities as thermal and hydroelectric generating facilities, transformers, receiving terminals, and power distributors. Furthermore, the division will continue to work on expanding orders domestically and overseas based on its superlative performance mainly in Asia and the Middle East.
Thermal Power Systems & Service Division
The move towards liberalization of the power market has promoted entry into the power generating business for general companies, and has increased the needs for Thermal Power Systems. Demand in this field is also growing overseas in Asia and the Middle East.
The Thermal Power Plant Division makes use of our technological capabilities and experience in constructing large-scale power plants to appropriately adapt to these societal changes, and we are proactively seeking orders for thermal power system construction projects.
