Creating a Superior Environment for the Future
Aiming to be a "sustainable corporation, "Toshiba Plant Systems & Services sets and implements the following "Environmental Policy" to hand over the global environment to next generations in a sound condition by innovating technology and reforming awareness, heeding to the limited resources and restricted purification ability of the earth.
Environmental Policy
Our company contributes to social development in response to reliance of a customer and recognizes that it is a corporate social responsibility to hand over "the earth never substituted" to next generations in a sound condition. We shall undertake the following environmental management activities as a general facility installation company that performs work from planning, design and other engineering work to procurement, installation and field service, to continually improve the environment and to prevent pollution of the environment.
1. We shall implement our environmental activities that are technically and economically feasible by precisely gauging the impacts that our business activities have on the environment recognizing that conservation of the global environment is one of the most important matters for our management.
2. We will observe the laws, ordinances and regulations on the environment, as well as the guidelines and other documents we agree to, shall set our management standards and shall enhance environmental management standards by reviewing them periodically or as required.

| 2) | Prevention of global warming by reduction of energy consumption |
| 3) | Development of power generation equipment, systems and new energy equipment that contribute to the prevention of global warming |
| 4) | Resource and energy saving through a reduction in material consumption and through miniaturization and high performance of products and systems |
4. We shall provide guidance and support to our affiliates and subcontractors through instruction, training, awareness enhancement and other activities, and shall further enhance the environmental awareness of all our employees and persons who work for the Company. All the employees and personnel shall perform environmental activities. Maintaining harmony and cooperation with society and communities, we shall actively disclose information to and shall maintain communications with them.
