- 1.Hydrogen energy local production & consumption model project
High-purity hydrogen is a by-product of caustic soda production at Tokuyama Factory of Tokuyama Corporation.
The by-product hydrogen is transported to a neighboring swimming pool via a pipeline and used for fuel-cell electricity generation (100 kW). The exhaust heat of the fuel cells is used to heat the water for the swimming pool. - 2.In this project, TPSC laid hydrogen pipes (approx. 1.2 km) from the factory to the fuel cell facility and erected three buffer drums (20 m in height, 100 m2).
